Regenerative development in action
Regenerative development builds the capacity of a system to remain vital, viable and able to adapt constructively to change. People and their relationship with place are central to that process.
This series of five short films by videographer Alexander Melck explores regenerative practice across design, business and education. Case studies include New Belgium Brewery, a children's village in Cheyenne, Kroon Hall at Yale, the Willow School and the changing role of the design practitioner.
Together the films show regenerative work as more than resource efficiency. They examine how a project can enrich its community, connect people with nature, support continual learning and reveal the potential of a place.
